Six ingredients,mixed on demand.
A connected scent device that combines six aroma ingredients in different proportions — so one device can play many scents, and play a saved version again.

Six bottles.Six channels.

- 01
Six aroma ingredient bottles
Each 10 ml bottle sits on its own dosing channel. The device knows which bottles are installed.
- 02
Proportional mixing
A saved scent is a recipe of proportions across the six ingredients. The same recipe can be played again, the same way.
- 03
Compatibility check
Before playing a shared scent, the device checks that it holds the ingredients it needs — and says so when one is missing.
- 04
Replace one, or replace all
Bottles are replaced individually or as three- and six-bottle sets, so the most-used ingredient never strands the rest.
- 05
Connected
A Wi-Fi microcontroller drives the six channels. Playback of shared scents from TRACE Scent Cloud is planned.
Change theproportions,change the scent.
This is the core idea of the device: a scent is not a cartridge, it is a ratio. Try the presets, or move a channel yourself.
The diffuser holds six aroma ingredients and mixes them in different proportions. Move a channel to change the blend.
Illustrative Example palette for this demo. TRACE’s production ingredient set is still being defined.
A quiet objectfor a sensory job.
A soft-cornered cube with a single nozzle on top and a front panel for the bottles. Two finishes have been explored in concept renders. Production design is still to be confirmed.

The prototype mixes and plays. Now it has to be measured.
Working today
An MVP prototype, built for ¥1,020 in parts, mixes ingredients and plays saved blends locally.
Still to validate
Mixing accuracy, release repeatability, indoor exposure limits, certification and production cost. TRACE publishes no performance figures until they are measured.
